All LAN connections require a router and the appropriate connection (called the local loop). Our basic setup package includes ordering your local loop and providing configuration templates for Netopia ISDN dial-up or Cisco routers. The basic setup is for those customers working with LAN VARs or with sufficient experience to do-it-themselves. Junctionbox® offers optional Up-and-Rolling setup where we do everything to get your network online. Up-And-Rolling includes local loop ordering and coordination through our partnerships with the local loop provider, and the selection, ordering, test and installation of your router. (Router hardware is extra.) We recommend Up-And-Rolling setup unless you have experience with router configuration.

V.92 Modem LAN

The V.90 modem LAN accounts are ideal for small companies wanting to share a single phone line among 2-5 users. These accounts are for a single IP address so a proxy is required. Our Mail Exchange service is included for no charge if desired. Basic Setup is $99. Up-and-Rolling Setup is $500.

ISDN LAN
ISDN is ideal for companies with 5-50 workstations needing Internet access and e-mail, and when their web site is hosted on Junctionbox. ISDN connections are either 64kbps or 128kbps depending on your equipment. It's a dial-up connection so the connection is active only when someone is on the net. Check out our ISDN Services Description for information on telco ISDN pricing. Our LAN Mail Exchange service is included with all ISDN LAN accounts for no charge if desired. Basic Setup is $99. Up-and-Rolling Setup is $500.

LAN E-mail Exchange

If you already use a corporate e-mail system, Junctionbox's LAN Mail Exchange service connects your company's e-mail server/gateway to the Internet. It is assumed that you will be running an SMTP-compatible mail server (such as Microsoft Exchange Server) on your site. LAN Mail Exchange is included with all LAN Access Accounts. Without a LAN Access Account, the following charges apply for dial-up SMTP services. Basic Setup is $99.
